Welcome to my blog…
Reading in Restaurantss
What’s this about?
It’s just as the title says, this is a blog that will help you find a warm, wonderful place to plop down, have something to eat, and read a book. This is one of my favourite things to do and I want to share it with all of you. Hopefully, we can even make a friend or two while doing this. I would like to share these adventures with you. The question is, what will you find here?
It is not just a book and restaurant review page. It is about what makes the perfect pairing of book and food or restaurant and novel. Both of these things can make life a little more fun. That is the magic of books and restaurants.
The books you will find here tend to be from newer authors, romantasy, magical realism. sci-fi, and horror. Every now and then I will veer away from those genres and read something entirely different but that is only apart of the fun Book reviews that have the added bonus of wine/snack pairing to go with it. It will set an ambiance and a mood with the book itself and just be some fun suggestions for people. The center is the books themselves. I will tell people about the books themselves especially those that my fellow local writers have wrote that deserve a look.
I will also write some restaurant reviews and select a book that will go with them. All of these restaurants are unique and special in their own way. They will all be local and perhaps even a hidden gem where the experience and the food are unlike any other. I will explain what the restaurant is, what it is like, where it is, why you should check it out, and why you want to read this particular book in this restaurant.
But don’t just take my word for it, see the posts for yourselves and tell me what you think. I always love to hear your thoughts and suggestions about these things. Every word matters.
